Swing Choir Tour, 2014

So, uh, public service announcement: Golden City Buffet in San Francisco is probably the shittiest restaurant ever. My tab was $18.30; we were told the price was about $12 or $13. Oh, yeah, and if you absolutely must eat there, don't eat the sushi. Almost everyone who did got food poisoning, though everyone's okay now.

So yeah, tour was good, other than that. Except for the part where one student got had a severe allergic reaction to KFC. But she's okay now.

Uh...so, yeah, we sang. The same songs. A lot. The schools we sang at were pretty good, but the alternative school was kinda...eeysh. One girl sang to this guy (see, we do these things where we go out and sing to the crowd) and the guys girlfriend pushed her off and that kinda ruined her day. There was this really little high school we sang to, tough, and they were great, and I loved them. (They also very graciously allowed us to sleep on their gym floor. Which reminds me that we had a massage line there and it was yeeeeesssss.)

I'll never be able to get our medley out of my head, though. (Top forty, to-op forty! Well, you can hear it on the radio! Top forty, to-op forty! It's got the best of pop, rock, and soul!)
