So, apparently, last night, our high school was threatened with a shooting. Or maybe some kid was accused of carrying bullets around in some box. Somethin' like that. So, yeah, there was supposed to be a shooting today.
You'll never guess what didn't happen.
Okay, so I didn't know until this morning, right? Like...the parents got a call at about 7:30. I left the house by seven. Anyways, a couple of teachers were talking about it this morning, and this is what I pieced together: the bullet box? It contained...wait for it...
Magic: The Gathering cards.
Teacher's comment: "I am so proud of you for not being afraid of playing cards."
Whole school was...empty, really. I mean, there were only four people in my Spanish class. Needless to say, almost nothing was done the whole day.
Eighty dollars says that 70% of the people gone were not at all afraid of the shooting. It is, however, absolutely possible that they were afraid of getting homework on Friday--definitely a fate worse than death.
In other news, uh...I've been drawing a bunch of A Link Between Worlds stuff. Because...yeah. Hilda is painfully fun to draw.
